From Cannery Cove we headed towards the Petersburg area. The weather was settled when we went by Five Fingers Islands so we decided to stop and fish for halibut at one of Stans halibut spots. We ended up with 3 more halibut.
We anchored behind Whitney Island and regrouped. We had smoked some
salmon during the day, so those got finished up. We had cracked crab all afternoon, left over from Cannery Cove and we got that task finished. We caught the 3 halibut, so we got those cleaned and we baked some bread. It was a very full day. Here is a beautiful view of the sunset at the Whitney Island East anchorage.
